San Miguel de Allende

Ah, just off the plane and blessed with a spread of chips, salsa and margaritas.

Actually, she has fresh lemonade.

Brooke the lovely bride and her favorite oldest nephew.

Some love from Uncle Bear

Scouring the streets of San Miguel for the restaurant we were meeting everyone at. Hooray! We found it!

Here's the party!

Uncle Brian took Wilder on a stroll and bought him a pinwheel. Our boy is getting spoiled -so much love!

Not sure if this was a Mexican tradition for a bride-to-be, but Brooke got to be the main cat of the party.
"Meow!" A cuter cat there never was.

Wilder enjoyed a little basil soup. Actually, I think it was a facial treatment.

Helping prepare the gift bags -what creativity!

Yeah, our son's sporting the faux hawk. At last, someone in our family can do it!

I think he likes it.

Aunt CC is the BEST sink bather. I was so nervous about him getting tap water in his mouth I left it to the expert. And he smelled like a rose afterwards. Actually, he smelled like Dove soap, which was even better.

Playtime is a family affair.

Taking lessons from the experts, Virginia and Crystal stir things up with Marina and Suzanna, the two fabulous house managers.

Voila! (wrong language, but you get the idea.) Enchiladas for lunch -and a few new recipes learned!

Aunt CC makes this little man smile. A LOT.

Tada! That's all from Mexico -I think 5 posts takes care of it -though I have so many more stories I could share. It was a terrific trip and I am thrilled for the opportunity to share these marvelous places with Brian sometime. Now, life back in the great state of Texas.
