The task of going through our deceased father, grandmother and great-grandmother's items and dividing them among the two of us sisters could have sparked WWIII, as it often happens to in many families. Fortunately (mainly because of dear, sweet Crystal) it was a time to remember, to laugh and to share. Just like when we were 6 and 7, we took a great many goofy pictures while playing dress up with precious things from the past, had a tea party with Great Grandma Ruth's beautiful tea set, and enjoyed -as always- sharing memories of those gone who gave us so much in life while they were with us.
I have ALWAYS, ALWAYS loved these sparkles. I remember the countless times Grandma Lee took me through her jewelry boxes and showed me these glamorous strands -plus her hats and scarves. Oh my, it just dawned on me where I got my love of accessories! Though much of the showy jewelry was Great Grandma Ruth's (Grandpa's mother) the time Grandma Lee took with me as she shared these treasures definitely had a lasting impact.

I had such a great time with Kelly. I am so thankful for the time we had to grieve and celebrate together. God has been so good to us and I am so very thankful for my family. Always - Crystal
